Top ten relationship killers and how to deal with them
Today’s message in church wasn’t about relationships. However, something I heard triggered my thoughts on what can destroy an amazing relationship. There is this popular saying – “What you don’t know can’t kill you” well not knowing isn’t an excuse and what you don’t know might kill your relationship.
It’s not enough to be in a relationship. You have to invest in making the relationship work. When couples start having conflicts/disagreements after the initial stages of “butterflies” or being “love struck” it can be confusing and hurtful. This confusion can sometimes trigger wrong responses or complete shutdown. Disney has made us think that “perfect” relationships are void of disagreements.
