Emmys 2015: Viola Davis and Nigeria’s very own Uzo Aduba bag awards

UZO ADUBA

Uzoamaka Nwanneka Aduba (popularly known as Uzo Aduba) made Nigeria proud yesterday when she won the Emmys for the second time. The first award was for the Outstanding Guest Actress, this time around she won the award for the Outstanding Supporting Actress as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren on Netflix’s Orange is the New Black.

Uzo Amaka who started her acting career in 2003 has won a couple of awards. Some of these awards include the Critics Choice Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and NAACP Image Award.

Viola Davis broke the jinx record as she became the first African-American woman to win an Emmy for Best Lead Actress for her role on a drama series – How to Get Away With Murder.
